Prime Minister Drives Himself to China Friendship Centre

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman attended the annual conference of the Bangladesh Administrative Service Association.

In the evening, the head of government drove himself from the Secretariat to the China Friendship Conference Centre. His spouse, Dr. Zubaida Rahman, accompanied him during the visit.

Earlier in the morning, while travelling from his Gulshan residence to the Secretariat, Tarique Rahman broke VIP protocol norms and instructed his convoy to give way to an ambulance. The incident was observed around 9:00 am at the Karwan Bazar section of the Elevated Expressway.

While proceeding towards the Secretariat via the Banani Expressway, the prime minister noticed the ambulance and immediately instructed security officials to clear the way for it.
