Lamia Morshed, who was traveling with former interim government Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus, has said that the incident of harassment at the JFK Airport in the United States did not have any "impact" on him. She said this today Tuesday afternoon by posting a photo of the Nobel laureate Yunus with two children on the social media platform Facebook.
Lamia Morshed is the Executive Director of the Yunus Centre. She was the Chief Coordinator for SDG Affairs of the former Chief Adviser. In the caption of the post, she mentioned, "I took the pictures a few minutes before those barbaric people harassed him (Dr. Yunus) at the JFK Airport."

"Throughout the entire journey, love and respect for him remained intact. He is well. This incident has only exposed the extreme rudeness of those people and their low mentality. It has had no impact on sir."
Lamia Morshed also thanked those who stood beside Dr. Yunus after hearing the news of the harassment.
On Monday, at the JFK Airport in New York, there were allegations of harassment of Dr. Yunus by several leaders and activists of the Awami League, whose activities have been banned in Bangladesh. A video of the incident also spread on social media.
In the video, several Awami League leaders and activists can be seen standing in front of the former Chief Adviser. At that time, Dr. Yunus was taken inside the terminal in a wheelchair.
At that time, one of the harassers kept shouting, "You killed thousands of people in Bangladesh... He killed thousands of police in my country. He destroyed the democracy in my country..."
