Mirza Abbas may return to Bangladesh before Eid

BNP Standing Committee member Mirza Abbas may return to the country before Eid-ul-Azha as his health condition has improved, according to BNP Media Cell member Shairul Kabir Khan.
On Wednesday evening, citing Mirza Abbas’s wife Afroza Abbas, Shairul Kabir Khan said that Mirza Abbas is now completely out of danger. He is recovering gradually and communicating with family members. He added that, according to the decision of the medical board, plans are in place for his return to Bangladesh before Eid-ul-Azha.
The family also said that Mirza Abbas is expected to appear in a video message within one to two weeks, where he will seek prayers from the public. They added that he will return to Bangladesh soon after completing his medical procedures and therapy.
Earlier, on March 11, Mirza Abbas fell ill during iftar and underwent surgery on his head at Evercare Hospital in Dhaka. He later travelled to Singapore for advanced treatment before moving to Malaysia, where he is currently receiving medical care.
