Advance Train Ticket Sales for Eid-ul-Adha Start May 13

Bangladesh Railway has decided to begin advance ticket sales to ensure a smooth journey for the Eid holidaymakers during the upcoming Eid-ul-Adha. To make their journey home more comfortable, online ticket sales will commence on May 13. Advance tickets for the return journey after Eid will go on sale starting May 21.
According to the schedule, tickets for May 23 will be sold on May 13. Tickets for May 24 will be available on May 14, followed by May 25 tickets on May 15. Similarly, tickets for May 26 will be available on May 16, and tickets for May 27 will be sold on May 17.
Return tickets will be available starting May 21, which will cover travel for May 31. On May 22, tickets for June 1 will be sold. Sales for June 2, June 3, and June 4 will take place on May 23, May 24, and May 25, respectively.
The guidelines state that a passenger can purchase tickets only once for the advance journey and once for the return journey, with a maximum of four tickets per purchase. Tickets for these special Eid trips are non-refundable. At the request of the general public, standing tickets equivalent to 25% of the total seats (excluding high-class compartments) will be sold from station counters on the day of travel.
Return journey tickets must be issued starting from 8:00 AM on the specified dates according to the schedule.
