Prime Minister Arrives in Sylhet

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has arrived in Sylhet. This information was shared in a post on the verified Facebook page of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP). The PM is accompanied by his wife, Dr. Zubaida Rahman.
Earlier on Saturday, the Prime Minister and his entourage left his Gulshan residence at 8:25 AM and reached Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport around 9:00 AM. After participating in various programs throughout the day in Sylhet, the Prime Minister is scheduled to return to Dhaka tonight.
According to the itinerary, the Prime Minister will begin his schedule at 10:30 AM by visiting and offering prayers at the shrine of Hazrat Shahjalal (R.). At 11:00 AM, he will attend a foundation stone-laying ceremony and a civic gathering for a project undertaken by the Sylhet City Corporation to alleviate urban waterlogging, located at Chandni Ghat near the Sylhet Circuit House.
At 12:00 PM, he will inaugurate the Baisha River re-excavation program located in Kashipur Union of Sylhet Sadar Upazila.
At 3:00 PM, the Prime Minister will attend the inaugural ceremony of "Nutan Krira Sports-2026," a sports talent hunt program for children and adolescents organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports at the Sylhet District Stadium. Finally, at 5:00 PM, he will join a party meeting organized at the District Shilpakala Academy.
