Sarjis warns of worse consequences than Chhatra League

Sarjis Alam, chief coordinator of the National Citizen Party’s (NCP) northern region, has said that the Bangladesh Jatiotabadi Chhatra Dal will face consequences worse than those faced by the banned Bangladesh Chhatra League.
He made the remark in a status posted on his Facebook account on Tuesday.
In the status, Sarjis wrote, “The sooner Chhatra Dal becomes Chhatra League, the sooner their consequences will be worse than those of Chhatra League.”
Earlier today, clashes took place between Chhatra Dal and Chhatra Shibir on the campuses of Jagannath University, Dhaka College, National Medical College and Dhaka Alia Madrasah.
