Prime Minister Extends Eid-ul-Azha Greetings

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has extended Eid greetings to the people of the country and Muslims around the world on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Azha. He conveyed the greetings in a post on his verified Facebook page on Tuesday.
In the post, he said that Eid-ul-Azha has once again arrived for the global Muslim community, reminding them of the highest form of sacrifice, the noble guidance of taqwa, and the unique message of self-purification. He extended Eid Mubarak to all Bangladeshis and Muslims worldwide and conveyed his greetings on the blessed occasion.
The Prime Minister noted that Muslims in Bangladesh and around the world, inspired by the spirit of sacrifice, are preparing to observe Eid-ul-Azha. He said the Islamic festival is not only a celebration but also carries an eternal message of deep faith in the Creator, devotion, and sacrifice.
He added that the unwavering faith, unconditional obedience, and supreme sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim (PUBH), made for the sake of Allah’s pleasure, have given the day profound significance and sanctity for the global Muslim Ummah.
The Prime Minister prayed that Allah accept their sacrifices on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha and grant peace, security, and stability to their homeland, the wider Muslim world, and all of humanity. He also prayed for global peace, harmony, and security.
He hoped this holy Eid-ul-Azha would be filled with the spirit of sacrifice. He prayed that Allah accept their Qurbani and worship, and that His mercy and blessings fill their lives with peace and prosperity.
